Joe Nichols Joins CW Fashion Show

Country star Joe Nichols, who was recently named the face of Roper Apparel, will sit down with After Midnite’s Blair Garner for an intimate one on one conversation about Joe’s evolution in the music business over the past few years followed by a short acoustic performance.

Nichols recently scored his fourth No. 1 single, “Gimmie That Girl,” and is enjoying critical acclaim for his album, Old Things New. “I’m really looking forward to seeing everyone at Country Weekly’s Fashion Show,” Nichols says. “I have been known to make a few Zoolander faces in the past and might pull one out during my interview with Blair Garner. It will be fun to sing a few songs and show off the cool new clothes Roper has coming out.”

“We are thrilled to have Joe and Blair be a part of the Country Weekly Fashion Show this year,” says Lisa Konicki, Country Weekly’s Editor in Chief. “The two of them together will only make an already entertaining event even better. I am personally looking forward to Joe pulling out his ‘Zoolander’ faces. We are equally excited about teaming with such an exceptional charity as Musicians On Call.”

The annual Country Weekly Fashion Show and Concert will be held June 8 at Nashville’s Wildhorse Saloon. The event benefits Musicians On Call, a charitable organization with the mission of bringing music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare facilities.

Doors will open at 11:00 a.m. for the event, followed by the one on one session at 11:30 a.m. The Fashion Show—featuring dozens of Nashville’s next generation of country stars—will start at 12 noon with acoustic performances following at 1 p.m.

Premium seating tickets are available at http://www.musiciansoncall.org/ and all other tickets (start at $35) can be purchased at http://www.ticketmaster.com/. All tickets include lunch.

The Country Weekly Fashion Show and Concert is sponsored by Durango, Roper, Silpada Designs and Lifetime Television. All tickets include lunch.
