Country Stars Help Rebuild Music City - Country Weekly

When floodwaters devastated the Nashville area in early May, country stars pitched in to do their part and assist the Music City community. This special cover section details how stars like Keith Urban, Taylor Swift, Reba McEntire

and others performed in benefit concerts or gave donations to the flood relief. Reba donated $100,000 to the American Red Cross and told Country Weekly, “The Red Cross knows where the help is needed and how to get it to the people who need it the most.”

Several stars, including Kenny Chesney, Dierks Bentley and Jo Dee Messina, experienced losses in the flood, while Nashville tourist spots like the Grand Ole Opry House, the Wildhorse Saloon and others also suffered extensive damage and have closed temporarily.
